The first step of booking is to ask us if your chosen date is available. Please email us with your chosen date and we will confirm via email if the date is available. We can then hold the date at no cost for a period of 7 days. Until you formally request and have confirmation (by email) for us to hold a date, it remains on the availability calendar.

During the 7 day period you will need to read and agree our terms and conditions, book your registrar and purchase wedding insurance that must include guest public liability (against any damage your guests may cause)

 Once we have received your signed terms and condition, registrars confirmation and a copy of your wedding insurance, we will confirm your date. At this point your date is booked on our calendar and we will issue and invoice for 25% of the total price with the balance being paid 16 weeks before your event.


Ceremony times may start from 2pm. except for midweek intimate weddings 1pm and ceremony only bookings 1pm.

(Unless otherwise agreed with the venue)


For weekend wedding Access on the Friday for set up is from 10am - 5pm.

For Day rate Weddings and Midweek, access is from 8.30am on the day of the wedding for setup.


As long as we can accommodate you, you can change your date.


We have a list of suppliers that have worked well at the venue before.

Otherwise you are welcome to bring in your own suppliers. However if they are not on our list you need to bring their public liability certificates to your final meeting, and in the case of  caterers their food hygiene certificate also. We also advise suppliers who have not been to the venue to contact us to organise a viewing of the Estate.


You may bring in a celebration glass of bubbles 1-2 per person in for the woods.

Half a bottle of wine pp for the tables.

A glass of bubbles for the toasting drink.

We do not charge corkage for these items, but you are required to remove all your own bottles and packaging from the estate the next day.

You will also need to supply your own glasses.

If having alcohol in the meadow you will need to use an outside bar company, or Two Woods bar can supply a quote.

All of your alcohol must be removed after the meal, when the bar opens.

Any alcohol left over will be available for you to collect the next day.

Own alcohol bought in by your guests is strictly forbidden, and will be removed.


In support of live music and a great atmosphere, we are a live music only venue. (Unless otherwise arranged with the venue)

There is no electricity in the Redwoods.

We have a portable pa system that can be used to play music via ipod/phone etc. Most couples use this for music down the aisle.

Please request this if you wish to use it.

Acoustic music also works well in the Redwoods.

Should you require any music in the barn garden (other than background music) please let us know as we will need to apply for a temporary event notice as it is an outdoor space near to the road.

This will cover live acoustic music or lowly amped band for the afternoon.

You may have a band/acoustic music in the meadow during the afternoon. If you are having an evening reception in the meadow with music, please let us know and we will apply for the event notice.


We have a guest fridge and chest freezer for your use in the kitchen.

Tablecloths / Tables

We do not currently supply tablecloths, usually your caterer will do this.

Our table sizes are 5ft round and 6ft and 9ft long.

5ft round seats 8 people.

For a top table of 6, you need 2x 3ft.

For a top table of 8 you need 1 x 6ft and 1x 9ft.

if you are buying table cloths you need. 5ft round with 118 drop to the floor

Highchairs and baby changing

We have 2 high chairs.  We do have baby change facilities.

if you need food or milk warming please do not hesitate to ask a member of staff.


Crockery, cutlery and glasses

Your caterer will supply these.

Two Woods is not responsible for the cleaning of glasses and crockery bought in by outside suppliers.

If you are bringing in your own glasses, please could you leave the boxes in the kitchen so we can pack them up before the bar is opened.


We are happy for you to decorate the barn, woods and meadow, but please do not put nails in walls or trees :-(

Hay bales can be hired in, but must have netting around them, and must be removed the next day.

If you take down or move any of our decorations or fixtures they must be put back the next day.


You may have real flame candles within the barn area as long as they are in a container, such as jam jar or glass holder.

Candles must not be placed on the floor.

We supply real flame candles for the lanterns in the Redwoods and will light them before your ceremony.

The Gator

Services of the gator and driver are a courtesy to transport you less abled guests and bridal party to the ceremony area. As this service is also used to transport registrars, there is a maximum of 4 trips (including registrars) that can be fitted in before the ceremony time.

The gator is not included to move items/alcohol or decorations or services around the estate. This is the responsibility of the bridal party.



All rubbish,flowers,foliage,candles,candle holders,favors, must be removed from the estate by 1pm the following day for the weekend and day rate weddings. Same day removal for all other weddings.


Camping for 20 people is included in our weekend rate.

A further 10 people can be accommodated at an extra £10 per person (you may want to supply an extra portaloo)

There is one portaloo, shower and a  fire pit.

One basket of wood is included for the fire pit.

You must designate a responsible person to light and look after the fire pit. We will send you a form for this nearer the time.

You and your guests use the firepit at your own risk

A  BBQ  is available for you to cook breakfast the next day. You will need to bring in your own supply of cups, plates, cutlery etc.

There is a small sink near to the BBQ and a cold water tap

Guests need to bring their own tents or you can hire fully furnished bell tents from local companies.

The camping meadow is for chill out and wind down after the wedding. It is not for continued partying.

Music and alcohol is not permitted on the camping night of the wedding.


I've emailed Two Woods or another supplier and haven't had an answer.

If you are emailing during the summer season, please bare with us and the suppliers, we are all extremely busy during the summer, concentrating on the couples that are getting married during the current year.

Your email is important and we will get back to you, but this can take up to a week.


Viewing appointments during the summer are usually mid week. Periodically we hold open days or evenings off season for you to visit and plan with family/friends and suppliers. Please make sure you try to attend on these dates with your suppliers.

We can offer a final meeting if needed with couples to go through the details of your day. This is normally done off season before the start of the summer of your wedding. Please let us know if you would like to arrange a final meeting.

You will be send a blank timeline form for your day. It is really helpful if you can fill this out with as much detail as possible and return to us.


We love pets, dogs,horses, and anything else furry allowed to be fully part of your day.


Are not permitted due to wildlife and cattle in surrounding fields.

Due to a fire incident, sparklers are no longer permitted.
